UPSSSC Recruitment 2025 Lekhpal 7994 Posts Online Application

Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) invites online applications for 7994 permanent posts of Lekhpal under notice UPSSSC 02/2025. Eligible candidates who have qualified PET 2025 (Preliminary Eligibility Test) conducted by UPSSSC, may apply for Lekhpal Recruitment 2025 between 29-12-2025 to 28-01-2026, after verifying eligibility norms.

Mode of Recruitment :

The selection process for the Lekhpal post will consist of three stages: Shortlisting based on PET 2025 scores, Written Main Examination, and Document Verification.

Shortlisting

Candidates will be shortlisted for the Main Examination based on their normalized scores in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025. Only those candidates who have appeared in PET 2025 and possess a valid scorecard with a normalized score greater than zero will be eligible for shortlisting.

Written Main Examination

Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for a single written main examination consisting of 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions. The total duration for the exam will be 120 minutes (2 hours), and each question will carry 1 mark. A negative marking of 25% (1/4 mark) will be applied for every incorrect answer.

Document Verification

Candidates who qualify the Written Main Examination based on the merit list will be called for the verification of their documents and records. The final selection will be made based on the marks obtained in the written examination and successful completion of the document verification process.

Fee Structure :

Applicable application fee is to be paid online. Fee structure is -

  • Unreserved: ₹25.00
  • Other Backward Classes: ₹25.00
  • Scheduled Caste: ₹25.00
  • Scheduled Tribe: ₹25.00
  • Dependents of Freedom Fighters, Ex-Servicemen, Women, Divyangjan, and Outstanding Sports Persons: As per their original category (₹25.00)

How to Apply :

  • Log in on upsssc.gov.in using your PET 2025 registration number and the OTP sent to your registered mobile number or email. Confirm auto-filled personal details such as name, category, and domicile as per PET 2025 records.
  • Fill in Intermediate qualification details including board name, year of passing, certificate number, and issue date.
  • Verify the photo and signature fetched from the PET 2025 database.
  • Enter details of any preferential qualifications and complete the declaration.
  • Pay the application processing fee through online modes and complete the form submission, by 28-01-2026. Submit the form and complete fee adjustment to generate the final application.
  • No printed application is required to be sent to the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission at this stage. Keep a printed copy of the submitted application for future reference or document verification.
